Treatment

Blurb:
How would you feel to be judged by everyone? Judged by your appearance? Judged by your race? Judged by your religion? Judged by your background? It's not fun! Find out about how two young people living illegally in the UK feel - watch it through there own eyes and experiences.

Character biographies:
Kid 1 -
Kid 2 - English - very judgmental and doesn't understand any other way of life but her own so doesn't understand the other religions around her.
Kid 3 -

Statement of indent:
We are the best people to write this story and we have the idea that will make this drama great and popular, we will do this by finding actor/ess' that fit the parts above.

Storyline:
Two illegal immigrants have started a new college and are trying to learn how to fit in in the typical UK college surrounding but are often stopped by a typical college teenage girl who does almost everything to make it as hard as possible. We show this through the characters eyes and video blogs by the characters themselves.

Review 15/03/12After this lesson and doing the treatment my group as a whole decided to change the idea to make it easier to film. We have decided to split the homework between us and I've been set the task of the mood board and the others are splitting the tasks between them (script, new treatment, 2 clips).

Review 22/03/12
This lesson we went out and took photos for our photographic story board and we're all involved and helping. Although the shots are wrong and aren't in the right location it gives you the idea of the shot we're going to use and what's going to be in the shot. We didn't get them all done this lesson but will be taking the rest soon in a better location to give you a better understanding. We have planned to go to London in the first week of the Easter Holiday to film the footage that we can't in the college. Although the rest of my group currently haven't done the homework they are planning on doing it this week which is when I will add it too much blog. I am hoping this will be the only time I am the only one who does the homework and my group are currently trying to change as I mentioned it.

New Treatment
Blurb:
Love is meant to be something you cherish, something you keep with you throughout your life. Love is something you hold and share with one person. Who knew it was so hard? A proposal is just meant to be the beginning but for a few it's the end. How are you meant to know how the other person feels?

Character biographies:
Ben - Doesn't really understand the idea of love and abuses his girlfriend and doesn't feel the slightest bit guilty.
Georgina - Head over heels for Ben forgives him for everything thing but in the end has to choose whether to stay with him or leave him.

Statement of indent:
We are the best people to write this story and we have the idea that will make this drama great and popular, we will do this by finding actor/ess' that fit the parts above.

Storyline:
Two people in love who end up getting engaged this is when georgina sees the real Ben and has to choose whether to stay with him or leave him. Ends on a cliff hanger

Research into Relevant Films

Although this proposal taken from the programme friends is very romantic and I don't want mine romantic I will still use to same styles used in film and tv.
This clip inperticular the shots are quite long as it's a romantic moment which means people are talking for much longer.
Two shots are very popualar in proposal scenes as they show both characters in the moment. And even in just this 3 minute clip there are 7.

Two shots are the most popular shots to use in proposal scenes as these shots are usually used in conversations to show both people invloved which is exactly why they use it in proposal scenes. Throughout this proposal the majority of the shots used are over the shoulder shots and those that aren't are two shots which I mentioned above.
